Eric and Danny were best friends and had been best friends since elementary school and were now both 18 and seniors in high school. They were both thin and stood around 5'7" and had longish hair. They both enjoyed sports, but neither were good enough to make any of their school's varsity teams, although they had played on Freshman teams a few years ago. Despite not being the most popular guys in school, they both were well liked, as they came from wealthy families, and had cheerleader girlfriends. They had planned to go to California with their girlfriends for spring break as one final trip before everyone moved away for college, but they now had to go alone as their girlfriends would be traveling away for cheer competitions.


The last day of school they went to the airport with their girlfriends and lost track of their luggage as they kissed their girlfriends goodbye. After their girlfriends left for the cheer competition they boarded their plane for Los Angeles.


After arriving in Los Angeles they picked up their luggage and took a taxi to their hotel. After they checked in they went up to their rooms, as they had booked two rooms next door to each other as they had originally planned to have their girlfriends with them. Eric and Danny made plans to meet up in a while then carried their luggage into their rooms.


Eric locked the door behind him, put the bags on the bed, and turned on the TV. He opened one of the suitcases to look for a shirt to wear when they went out later and was surprised to find it filled with his girlfriend's stuff. He opened another bag and found it filled with more of his girlfriend's stuff. As he looked through the stuff he heard a knock on the door so he quickly closed the bags and went to see who it was. He heard Danny's voice so he opened it.


"Hey dude," Danny said, "I hope you got the right bags cause I think mine got switched with Madison."


"Sorry man," Eric said, "mine got switched with Kristen by mistake. We should have been more careful at the airport and not have packed everything in matching suitcases. Don't worry I'll call the girls and get everything straightened out."


Eric got on his cell phone and called Kristen.


"Hi baby," Kristen said, "I miss you."


"Miss you too babe," Eric said, "I'm not sure if you checked your bags yet, but they got switched with mine and Danny's at the airport."


"OMG," Kristen said then stepped away for a few minutes, "OK baby, Madison and I packed our uniforms separately and some of the girls said we can borrow some clothes for the week. We'll send your suitcases to you, but you'll probably need to buy some clothes to wear until they get there. Oh, we have to get on the bus now, I'll talk to you later baby. I love you."


She hung up the phone before Eric got to say anything. He looked up at Danny who was looking through one of the suitcases.


"OK, Kristen is gonna send our luggage over, but we're gonna need to buy some clothes until they get here."


"Or," Danny said timidly, "maybe we can try something else for a few days."


"Like what?" Eric asked confused.


"Well, I've always wondered what it'd be like to be a girl, maybe this trip could be the opportunity to find out."


"Are you crazy?" Eric asked angrily, "We can't dress up as girls, that's just weird."


"Come on," Danny pleaded, "haven't you been the least bit curious to find out what it's like to be a girl?"


"Well, maybe a little," Eric said hesitantly, "but I don't think this is a good idea."


"OK," Danny said, "I guess maybe you're right. I'm gonna go back to my room and rest for a while. I'll come in a while."


"Later man," Eric said as Danny left the room closing the door behind him.


Eric closed the suitcases and watched some TV. As he flipped through the channels he thought about what Danny had said and was a bit curious, but still felt it was a bad idea. He drifted off to sleep.


A few hours later he was awoken by a knock at the door. He stumbled out of bed and heard Danny outside. He opened the door and blinked a few times surprised at what he saw. Standing before him was a gorgeous girl with wavy blonde hair and a beautiful face. She was wearing a tight tank top that revealed a modest amount of cleavage and the straps and top of a lacy bra. Eric stood in shock at his friend's transformation. He had known Danny since they were kids and couldn't believe how hot he looked as a girl.


"So how do I look?" Danielle asked nervously.


"Wow you look amazing," Eric said, "but this feels so weird."

Eric stood silent for a moment after Danielle finished speaking. He was still feeling a little strange about all this, but he knew how hard it must have been for his friend to tell him his secret. He also was feeling a bit curious to know what he would look like as a girl as his features were also somewhat feminine and he had very little body hair. Finally he spoke up.


"Listen," he said, "I have to admit this is a little weird for me, but don't worry I'm still gonna be your friend. Actually, I know I might regret this, but seeing you like this has gotten me a bit curious. Maybe I'll try dressing up as a girl for a day. But, after tonight we're getting guy clothes."


Danielle's eyes lit up. She wasn't expecting Eric to want to try dressing like a girl, but she was glad her friend was willing to try it.  She kissed him again and they fell onto the bed as they made out for several moments.  As they kissed, Eric ran his hand over Danielle's sexy smooth thighs.  Danielle broke the kiss and stood up.  She went to her room and came back with a bag.

Eric carried all the stuff into the bathroom and locked the door. He put the stuff in the shower then stripped off his clothes. He looked in the mirror at his naked body and hesitated for a moment wondering if he should go through with this. After contemplating it for a few minutes he stepped into the shower and followed Danielle's instructions. He felt a bit strange as he watched his body hair go down the drain. After he had finished removing his body hair and washing his hair and body he stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around himself. He ran his hands over his skin and was surprised at how sexy he felt. The mirror was fogged up so he couldn't see his reflection, but he was beginning to think that maybe he won't look too bad as a girl.


He opened the door a crack and found the room was empty, but noticed Danielle had left a note for him on the nightstand. The note told him to pick out some clothes to wear and that she would be back in a while to help him finish. Eric opened one of the suitcase and began looking through the clothes inside. He recognized a lot of it having seen his girlfriend wear these clothes quite often. He picked out a halter top and a pair of flared jeans as he was still a bit nervous about showing so much skin. He placed the clothes on the bed and watched some TV while he waited for Danielle to return. As he waited he ran his hands over his legs enjoying the feeling of how soft and smooth they felt. He was a bit lost in thought when he heard a knock at the door.


He got up and approached the door cautiously. He heard Danielle outside so he opened the door and pulled her in quickly, locking the door behind her. He noticed Danielle had a few bags with her.


"What's in the bags?" he asked.


"Just a few things to help with your transformation into Erica," she replied smiling.

Eric went over to the suitcase and picked out a printed miniskirt that matched the top. Danielle smiled at his selection in approval.


"OK," she said, "now let's get you ready."

Eric stood transfixed at the hot girl staring back at him in the mirror. He couldn't believe it was him. He had never imagined he would end up looking so good, but in that moment he was glad he had let his friend convince him to try it.


"Wow," he said still in shock, "I can't believe how hot I look."


"I told you you'd look good," Danielle said smiling, "I'm so happy you decided to do this with me. It's kind of late to go out tonight, but let's work on a few things so you'll be ready for tomorrow."


"OK," Eric said now feeling eager to try this experiment.


That night they practiced all the details Eric would need to pass as Erica. They worked on his walking in heels, talking in a female voice, saying things a girl would say, doing his makeup, sitting, dancing, eating, drinking, and moving like a girl. It was well into the next day when Danielle felt Eric was finally ready to make his debut as Erica. They packed their purses with their hotel keys, some makeup, their cell phones, a digital camera, and some money and Eric prepared to venture out into the world as Erica for the first time. He gathered up his courage, held Danielle's hand, and stepped out into the hallway, after making sure it was empty, leaving his boy self behind for a while and becoming the sexy Erica.


The two girls walked down the hallway and headed for the elevators at the end of the hall. Erica pushed the down button and glanced around nervously as they waited. Danielle gave her a reassuring look which calmed her down a bit. The elevator opened and Erica was relieved to find it was empty. They both stepped in and Erica pushed the lobby button. As they descended to the lobby Erica glanced at their reflections in the mirrored elevator walls. The doors opened and both girls stepped into the lobby.


As they stepped into the lobby Erica was feeling a bit nervous as there were several people scattered throughout, but no one seemed to notice they weren't real girls. Danielle guided her over to the hotel cafe so they could have a quick lunch before going out. Realizing Erica was still feeling a bit uncomfortable, Danielle had her get a table while she ordered salads and ice coffees for both of them. When their order was ready she brought it over to the table where Erica was waiting. As they ate their lunch Erica glanced around the cafe, which was empty, making her feel more comfortable to try talking to Danielle in her female voice.


"So," she said, "what did you have planned for today?"


"Um," Danielle said between bites, "I thought we'd start by hitting the mall, doing a little shopping, maybe see a movie or something. I know you're still a little uncomfortable about all this, but trust me you'll have a good time once you realize that right now you look just like any other 18 year old girl. Well, maybe a bit sexier."


They both laughed and continued talking as they finished their lunch. When they were finished they threw away their empty cups and containers and exited the cafe. The lobby was more crowded now and they headed toward the hotel entrance and exited to the main sidewalk. A young guy held the door open for them as they walked through and nervously smiled at them as they thanked him on their way out. Erica enjoyed the feel of the light breeze on her bare skin and was feeling a bit empowered by the guys that were checking her out. Although she only liked girls, it made her a bit excited to realize that she could probably get a guy to do anything for her, as she didn't have that same power over women as Eric. She began to walk more confidently as she hurried to keep up with Danielle as they headed for the nearby shopping mall.


After walking a couple blocks they reached the mall and began going from store to store trying on and buying clothes and shoes so that they wouldn't have to use their girlfriends' stuff the whole week, as Erica decided it might be fun to spend the rest of the week as girls. They also bought some swimsuits, dresses, underwear/lingerie, sleepwear, makeup, and some sexy costumes and cheap jewelry they found on sale at a novelty store. As they tried on each outfit Erica began to slip further into the female role posing and laughing with Danielle. To anyone passing by they looked like two sexy teenage girls having a girl's day out. At one point they stopped to use the restroom and Erica found it a bit awkward using the toilet wearing the fake vagina, but soon figured it out and after fixing their makeup they were on their way. After shopping they stopped at a mall photo booth and took some pictures doing funny and flirty faces. Soon it was getting late so they bought some smoothies and carried their bags back to the hotel.


When they got to their rooms they decided to go out for the night so they hugged each other and each went into their rooms to get ready for the evening. Erica took a quick shower, dried off and went through her shopping bags to decide what to wear for the evening. She put on a strapless bra and matching boyshort panties then put on a short strapless blue dress. She also put on a pair of strappy blue heels that she picked out to go with the dress then went to the bathroom to do her hair and makeup. After styling her hair she carefully applied her makeup remembering what Danielle had taught her. After she was satisfied with her look she put on a pair of earrings, as she had pierced ears, a girl's ring, and sprayed some perfume. She packed her matching clutch purse with what she needed for the evening and waited for Danielle. As she waited she called Kristen to see how she was doing, but she didn't pick up the phone so she assumed she was probably at the cheer competition.


After waiting a little while she heard a knock at the door. She got up to check who it was and opened it when she heard Danielle's voice. She opened the door and let her in. Danielle was wearing a short black dress and black heels and was holding a matching clutch purse. They each posed for each other and took a few pictures alone and together.


"Wow, looking hot Erica," Danielle said as Erica posed for a picture, "and to think just yesterday you were saying we could never pass for girls."


"Yeah," she said while posing, "I have to admit I'm enjoying it. I think I'm gonna enjoy spending the week experiencing things that only girls get to do."


"Well, this week you are a girl," Danielle said laughing, "now my brother got us reservations at a nice restaurant nearby and tomorrow he has a surprise for us."


"What's that?" Erica asked.


"Well, I'm not sure if you knew this," she said, "but my brother is a pretty big fashion photographer out here. He does photo shoots for lots of models and celebrities, and tomorrow he said we could be models and get a full photo session with clothes and makeup at his studio."


"What?" Erica said angrily, "You told him about us dressing up?"


"Don't worry. You can trust him. In fact he's the one that got me into crossdressing. We used to go out as girls together before he moved to L.A."


Erica was a bit surprised at this. She'd known Danny's brother for years and never imagined that he would dress like a girl. Then again she was also surprised to find out Danny dressed as a girl.


"Don't worry about tomorrow," Danielle said reassuringly, "it's gonna be fun.  Now let's get out there and have some fun tonight."


They grabbed their purses and left the room to go to dinner.  During dinner several guys flirted with them, which, although she wasn't interested in men, made Erica feel really good because she knew that the rest of the week should go by fine.  After dinner they went back to the hotel as they were both tired and said good night to each other then went to their rooms.  Erica changed into a babydoll nightgown and climbed into bed.  She smiled as she drifted off to sleep in anticipation of the fun they would have tomorrow.
